Grodzisk Mazowiecki is one of the most attractive communes to invest and settle. One of the priority actions of the Grodzisk authorities is constant development and modernization of technical infrastructure. Already today, the city boasts of water from Quaternary and Oligocene intakes, a biological-mechanical treatment plant, extensive networks: water and sewage, gas, electricity and telecommunications, as well as modernized roads, developed public transport, a modern hospital, swimming pool, sports fields and sports hall. Every year, about 25% of financial resources are allocated from the municipal budget for investments (in 2012 - 28.5%, in 2013 - 23%).

In 2012, several investments significant for the residents of the commune were completed.

 

Grodzisk Mazowiecki received a subsidy of about PLN 5 million as part of the Regional Operational Program of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship for the years 2014-2020 for the revitalization of the Walczewskie Ponds area and the partial development of the area at ul. Sportowa 29

Revitalization of the city center, which included the modernization of Willa Radogoszcz, revitalization of the Golan Pits and the Park of hr. Skarbek, influenced the new image of Grodzisk Mazowiecki, the objects regained their splendor and changed the face of the city. PLN 19.7 million was spent on the implementation of this investment, of which the municipality obtained 17 million co-financing from the self-government budget of the Masovian Voivodeship. In the Park. hr. Skarbek rose rose garden with a fountain, bicycle paths, gym and a modern playground. Another new place for recreation and relaxation is Golian Ponds with beautiful vegetation, walking paths, volleyball and basketball courts and a playground for children. However, in the revitalized, historic Villa Radogoszcz, an ethnographic gallery was created popularizing the history and tradition of Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

An important investment was the modernization of the urban economic zone, ie Miejski Market Square and the neighboring street. A new surface was made, a commercial pavilion was built, and a market place was made over the market place, which ensured comfortable conditions for the operation of business entities. Customers have gained an attractive place where they can shop. The aesthetics of the market were enriched by tree plantings and elements of small architecture. The whole task was consumed by nearly 13 million zlotys, of which over 9 million were subsidized by the European Union.

The construction of a modern Primary School in Książenice was also completed, financed from the municipality's own resources. The cost of this investment was 19 million PLN. The investment site was donated by one of the families residing in the Grodzisk Mazowiecki commune. The school is very modern and has no architectural barriers. A new building with a didactic background was created. This is the most modern facility in the commune. School 6 class, 2 classes in each level. In total, nearly 550 children are taught in it. The facility has sports facilities, a gymnasium, as well as a running track, a sports court and a playground for children.

Another investment in 2012 was the construction of a road in the industrial zone in the village of Natolin, to which the municipality raised funds from the European Regional Development Fund within the IROP in the amount of PLN 2 million, which accounted for 75% of investment costs. The construction of the road to the Zone improved the investment attractiveness of the commune as it opened direct access to plots of land with a total area of ​​56 ha. In the future, it will also be a section connecting the voivodship road with the Grodzisk Maz bypass.

At present, road investments are the priority investment activities of the Grodzisk local government. In 2013, almost PLN 14 million was earmarked for the construction and renovation of roads from the commune's budget (PLN 7.5 million in 2012). These activities will be continued in the following years. At the session in February 2013, the City Council approved the road investment plan presented by the Mayor of Grodzisk Mazowiecki for the years 2014-2018 (more here).
